Facial and Eye Expression with chosen eye style

The last of most of the major information I like to go through is the consistency of keeping your chosen eye styles the same during each expression. Whether the eyes are serious, tired, sad, showing joy, confused, or being expressed by the terms of a chibi, whichever style of the eyes you choose, try your hardest to keep them constant no matter which expression they take on. I usually like to practice them, and then note down their specific purposes and uses.

Notice that I've got an eye chart towards the left of this page. From the top of this chart starting with the first set of eyes, they're labeled "normal" and "listening" meaning that these are the default eyes during "Aluone time" or when she's speaking to a friend or family member without jokes or anything else. As you continue to go down, the eye sets change expression. For the second you see, they form a more angered or frustrated look, with it's notes off to the right of them. Planning out what your doing with a character can help you define their whole existence in your world, especially with facial and body expression, for they hold much value to their creation. You may go back and erase things you don't like, and you may keep and add others.

So it's the same with planning out your expressional values.
How do you want your character to look? How do you want your characters personality to work? What makes them tick, and what makes them shed tears? How do they react when being told something, or being insulted? How do they react to something joyful, or how do they react when stubbing their toe? There are many questions that you can ask as you continue to plan out facial and eye expressions. These questions will help you note down how each emotion pertains to each expression. And if that's not enough to satisfy your hunger for more, try drawing out these expressions and keeping them in practice. Consistency is also going to be a main word for character creation. Though many expressions are all different, they should work as one to bring out the character and show who they are and what kind of effectiveness they should have with other characters they interact with, and what kind of impact they should have on the viewers. For example, Mr. Paradox was created for the sole purpose of turning everyone into jelly made with love. And....a newer character that I have yet to introduce is supposed to make girls fangasm over him.....I guess that word works....

((These are ways I learned and are in no way 100% correct))
